Можливість застосування кордової крові в клітинній терапії патологій центральної нервової системи

Анотація

У роботі проведено пошук та аналіз наукових публікацій, які містять інформацію щодо результатів досліджень, спрямованих на з’ясування можливості застосування кордової крові (КК) для терапії патологій нервової системи. Авторами не виявлено клінічних протоколів або рекомендацій, які б мали статус чинних, офіційних, тощо. Проте опубліковано значну кількість протоколів клінічних випробувань лікування неврологічних захворювань з використанням трансплантації клітин КК. В огляді наведено результати деяких експериментальних досліджень на моделях патології центральної нервової системи та клінічних випробувань, в яких вивчався терапевтичний потенціал КК. Аналіз цих публікацій вказує на перспективність застосування КК у лікуванні різних патологій, у тому числі нейродегенеративних. Однак для реалізації терапевтичного потенціалу КК необхідне проведення подальших глибоких, цілеспрямованих і добре фінансованих досліджень та розширених клінічних випробувань. На думку авторів, у найближчому майбутньому важливо провести дослідження паракринної дії трансплантованих стовбурових клітин як альтернативи клітинної терапії.
